Aloha. I am Kahu Lāhela Johnson, a Native Hawaiian spiritual guide on Oʻahu. Since 2010 I have offered Hawaiian blessings that honor this ʻāina, call in the guidance of Ke Akua and our kūpuna, and bring people together in aloha. Every blessing begins with a conversation, so the ceremony truly fits your people and your place.
My Hawaiian business and group blessings honor new beginnings—from grand openings and new offices or warehouses to new teams and fresh chapters—as well as conferences, professional associations, and visiting groups. Through Hawaiian prayer, intention, and the spirit of aloha, we gather to express gratitude, align with a shared purpose, and deepen our connection to the place, its people, and the work being brought into the world. Each blessing invites a greater understanding of Hawaiʻi and a commitment to move forward in pono—with care for one another, the ʻāina, and the community your work touches.

A Hawaiian house blessing invites renewed energy, harmony, and aloha into your home—whether you are moving in, completing construction or remodeling, or welcoming a fresh beginning. I also offer family and baby blessings to honor new life and celebrate the love that holds your ʻohana together, as well as blessings for celebrations of life and ash scatterings to honor loved ones with gratitude, tenderness, and aloha.

A blessing sets a shared intention, grounds your group in this place, and creates a sense of belonging from the very first moment. I work with local and international retreat leaders and event planners.

Sometimes a blessing is just for you: a new job, a birthday, a recovery, a release, or a turning point in life. A personal Hawaiian blessing offers a quiet, sacred moment to honor where you have been and welcome what is next.

I open with oli (chant) and pule (prayer), then bless the people and clear the space, often using ti leaf and blessed water. Throughout the ceremony, I explain the meaning of each part so everyone feels welcome to understand and participate. We pause to express gratitude, honor our connection to the ʻāina (land), and set intentions for what lies ahead. Each blessing is thoughtfully shaped for the occasion, inviting harmony, a shared sense of purpose, and the spirit of aloha.
It all depends on the type of blessing, the size of the group and the space. We can discuss this during the free 30-minute consultation.
